Mortenson Construction hired Tom Rossman as project manager for the Elliott Bay Seawall; Jack McCaskill as field engineer for the Chambers Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant; Chris Prahl as project manager on the Bridge Creek Pipeline and Water Treatment Plant project in Bend, Oregon; William Dye as scheduling engineer in the Kirkland Office; and Chad Hulan as senior MEP estimator. Rossman served in the Army Corps in Europe, and holds bachelor's degrees in astrophysics and theoretical math from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. McCaskill previously interned with Mortenson at the Bridge Creek project in Bend, and holds a bachelor's degree in construction engineering management from Oregon State University. Prahl has experience on projects ranging from fish ladders to community wind farms, and is a graduate of Oregon State University. Dye previously worked for an engineering consulting firm in Louisiana. Hulan has 20 years of construction experience, most recently with Garney Construction in Colorado.

The Washington office of Long Painting Co., based in Kent, hired Matt North as industrial project manager, Charles Pham as industrial estimator/project manager and Clint Nold as workforce development manager. The Oregon office, based in Vancouver, hired John Morrison as commercial estimator. North has 17 years of industrial coatings and linings experience, the last 10 as regional manager at Dunkin & Bush. Pham worked for Kiewit and Techno Coatings in California before relocating to the Northwest. He has more than 10 years of industry experience and holds NACE certification. Nold previously spent eight years in the Army as a logistics officer. Morrison formerly was an owner-operator of a painting and drywall business in South Dakota.

Heery International named Dan Gendreau vice president and area manager for the company's Seattle office. Gendreau previously was project and construction management director and global PM program lead in Europe and the Americas for Jones Lang LaSalle. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA in management and finance from Seattle University.

Sequoyah Electric

Sequoyah Electric promoted David Bykerk to service dispatcher for the Redmond headquarters. Bykerk also buys materials for service projects; he previously was purchasing agent at the company. He has more than 12 years of industry experience.

Seattle-based PSF Mechanical hired Scott Youngs as HVAC service technician, Lacey Greene as assistant to the Nordstrom account executive, and Catherine Gundlach as sales support specialist. Youngs has more than 24 years of industry experience and holds a city of Seattle refrigeration license. Greene holds a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has nine years of administrative experience. Gundlach holds an associate's degree from Highline Community College. She has more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and management, including seven years in the construction industry.

Keith Conti is the new president of Veca Electric. Conti has been with Veca since 1990, most recently as project executive. Veca has offices in Seattle, Bremerton, Bellingham and Wenatchee.

Inland Northwest AGC

The Inland Northwest AGC elected Mike Reilly as 2015 board president. Reilly is owner of Cameron-Reilly Concrete. He has served on the board since 2010 and has been an AGC member since 2006. The association also elected to the board Jeramie Keeble of Leone & Keeble and Jeff Miller of Drywall Specialties.
