Susan McCants joined Osborne Construction Co. as project executive. McCants previously led GC/CM projects over $100 million at Turner Construction, including the Capitol Hill light-rail station for Sound Transit. She won Project Manager of the Year at the AGC of Washington 2016 Build Washington Awards. Osborne is based in Kirkland and has two offices in Alaska.
Kelso-based S&R Sheet Metal hired Terry Williams as business development director. The company cuts metals with a laser to make parts for industrial, commercial and manufacturing projects.

The Walsh Group's Seattle office hired Warren Johnson as director of business development. Johnson spent 18 years managing construction projects for Lumpkin Inc., Mortenson Construction and Bayley Construction, then the past 16 years at Bayley in business development.
Dan Selin and Pete Anderson are in their final year of leading Kirkland-based Compass General Construction, which specializes in multifamily and senior housing. Selin is president and Anderson vice president. The two have a three-year succession plan in which Bob Strum will become president in January 2018. Strum will be joined by a group of veteran Compass employees, and Selin and Anderson will remain as board members to mentor the new team. The late Ken Coleman started Compass in 1998.
