SEATTLE (AP) — Beginning this week, Seattle police will be assigning 15-to-25 officers to patrol popular nightspots on Friday and Saturday nights.
KIRO Radio reports it's part of the city's nightlife initiative. Mayor Mike McGinn said the goal is to maintain safety and support restaurants and entertainment venues.
