'Kinsey' takes science into the bedroom

By CHRISTY LEMIRE
AP Movie Critic

With its intelligent subject matter, "Kinsey" is giddy, even borderline orgasmic, with the possibility of discovery.

KINSEY

Director: Bill Condon

Cast: Liam Neeson, Laura Linney, John Lithgow, Peter Sarsgaard, Chris O'Donnell, Timothy Hutton

Rating: R, for pervasive sexual content, including some graphic images and descriptions

Running time: 118 minutes

It's also beautifully written, handsomely photographed and flawlessly acted by a solid cast, led by Liam Neeson and Laura Linney, who are so convincing you'd swear they truly were an old married couple by the film's end, and an alluring Peter Sarsgaard.
