    Q. Last night you got drunk, put your keys somewhere, and now you can’t find them. Got a search strategy?

    A. If all else fails, get drunk again. Strange way memory works is that you’ll recall things best when in the same place or state of mind as when the events originally occurred. This might mean retracing your steps, working into a similar mood, maybe even rehitting the bottle.
