    Ever had destination dejavu? Here's how it goes for me: Try as I might to discover certain legendary cities for the first time — like Rome and Florence — I find I've been there before.

    I'm not talking about childhood trips or past-life experiences or even art history classes, just the stuff of life — from textbooks and slide shows to Hollywood sets. Views of landmarks far away seem to settle, complete with details, into the subconscious mind. And then, suddenly, there they are.
