Seattle is finally catching up to its lowrise zoning. Even as we look for the end of the real estate and construction lull, dormant L-designated areas are getting the attention they deserve.
About 10 percent of the city's land is within lowrise zones, but they contain about 36 percent of the city's total housing stock.
