Design Perspectives: Bright visions for one gray acre at the center

    Like a big brother that has claimed a castoff toy, Space Needle Corp. has laid out a future for Seattle Center's Fun Forest site that's hard to refuse.

    The vision, a center for visual arts and education, is also a paean to glass artist Dale Chihuly. It would be paid for, packaged and ready to generate rental income for a cash-strapped Seattle Center by 2012.
