Design Perspectives: Time to shift gears on Seattle waterfront design

After more than two years of research, meetings and eye-popping public presentations, design work for Seattle's post-viaduct waterfront is about to shift gears.

“We are moving into implementation,” said Seattle planning director Marshall Foster. “We need to keep our scope and schedule very tight.”
