A look back on the 2006 Projects of the Month

Ten AIA/DJC Project of the Month features of 2006 show a range of design solutions that are both imaginative and practical. The variety of project types includes: a parking garage, pedestrian bridge, light rail stations, an apartment-over-shop, two community centers, a clinic and a studio as well as the new Seattle City Hall.

Together, these projects represent juries’ interest in finding the best among the area’s recent commercial, institutional and mixed-use projects — whether they have been recognized by awards and previous publicity or not.
