On the Block: Renton open to ‘creative ideas' for prime property where its former city hall stands
The city of Renton wants to redevelop a 3.8-acre property at 200 Mill Ave. S., where its former city hall is located. This is probably the largest redevelopment opportunity in downtown Renton, and city officials hope it will be a catalyst for future projects.
A request for interest appeared in the Sept. 5 DJC. Responses are due Monday, Sept. 25. The city is offering site visits and tours to prospective developers at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14 and 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20.
