Cowiche Canyon Kitchen and Ice House in downtown Yakima received a 2015 Honor Award from Central Washington AIA.
The restaurant was designed to be open and accessible, with an open dining room and display kitchen. Outdoor dining and gathering spaces are on the north, west and south sides, adjacent to sidewalks, and there are large windows offering views inside.
Materials are drawn from the area's agricultural history, with board-formed concrete walls and exposed wood and steel structures.

Architect: Graham Baba Architects
General contractor: VKPowell Construction
Design consultants: Lund Opsahl Structural Engineers; RH2 Engineering; Allworth Design
