Kitsap Transit plans transit center across from expanding hospital

The $19.8 million Silverdale Transit Center will have up to eight bus bays, shelters, parking and bike storage. Construction is expected to begin in 2021.

Kitsap Transit will hold an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. today on a new $19.8 million transit center it plans to build in the Silverdale area at the southeast corner of Ridgetop Boulevard Northwest and State Route 303/Northwest Waaga Way.
