LEWIS COUNTY — The state Department of Transportation has postponed closing state Route 6 in Lewis County, where crews had planned to begin installation Monday night of a bike and pedestrian bridge over the highway. WSDOT said inclement weather was to blame.
Tapani Inc. of Battle Ground is in charge of installing the three-span bridge for Washington State Parks. It is a safety improvement to the Willapa Hills Trail. Installation work was scheduled nightly through Friday.
