‘How big will the cafeteria be?' Students get up-close view of school construction

  • Six elementary and early childhood construction projects broke ground in the district this fall, with plans to open in time for classes next year.

    Accessible pathways and a new two-story building with classrooms, a cafeteria and shared learning space are under construction at Bothell’s Maywood Hills Elementary.

    Signs of the Northshore School District's 2022 bond investment can be seen all over the 60-square-mile-spanning district that includes Bothell, Woodinville and Kenmore — especially by curious students.
