Tractivity helps firms know which jobs will turn a profit

Tractivity's personal data collector replaces punch cards and paper time sheets. It reports to employers how much time employees spend on each activity throughout their day.

When a new electronic timecard system was put into place at Market Contractors Inc. in Portland, it was met with skepticism on the shop floor. "Initially, there was a lot of people whining about it," said Chris Boden, the foreman at the time. "They don't really like change."
