Skanska is turning its world green

  • Several people from the Seattle office are helping Skanska become a more sustainable operation on a global scale.

    Local Skanska employee Dan Frederick traveled to Sweden to act as the LEED administrator on the Garda 18:25 office tower, one of the first LEED platinum projects in that country.

    SKANSKA, the international development and construction company based in Stockholm, Sweden, has spent a lot of time over the past few years remaking itself as a greener company. A number of people from the Seattle office have helped meet that goal on a global scale.
