Deconstruction jobs are a ticket out of poverty

  • The Workforce Development Council of Seattle-King County this year is training 130 people in deconstruction as part of its GreenLight Project.

    In South Seattle, federal stimulus funds are sending 130 economically disadvantaged people to deconstruction school. The program is currently recruiting more students who want to get into the growing field.
