Fremont Fresh Market
One of Seattle's few independently owned and operated grocery stores celebrated its first year of operation this month.

Designed and built by owners Dan and Lillian Cawdrey, the Fremont Fresh Market offers a wine store staffed by a full-time steward, a deli, meat market, flower shop and organic produce. Cawdrey describes Fremont Fresh Market as a "full-service, specialty, neighborhood grocery store."
