Elliott Bay and the Seattle Great Wheel are framed like a picture as you look at them from First Avenue and Union Street. Many people go down to them every day, but only if they are ready for a long walk.
First they must take a long stairway from the cliff at Union and First. Then they've got to find their way through a gate on the other side of Western Avenue, and down into the back lot of a self-storage warehouse. It seems like trespassing, to be sneaking past dumpsters and chain-link fences.
