Commercial real estate brokers could find one of their own in the governor's mansion come next January if Dino Rossi prevails in November. The former state senator from Sammamish has a good chance to do what no Washington Republican gubernatorial candidate has done in 20 years: win.
He has yet to capture the GOP nomination, but he faces only token opposition. The state party clearly is lining up behind him. While it has technically not endorsed anyone, the party's Web site lists only Rossi as a candidate.
