    • SALT SPRING ISLAND, B.C. -- Hastings House, an English country house located on a 25-acre estate on Salt Spring Island in British Columbia has announced their Winter Romance and New Year's Eve packages.

    The property features 18 rooms and suites, centered around an 11th century-style Sussex Manor House where hotel guests gather for nightly five-course dinners, English breakfasts and afternoon tea. Hastings House is also a part of "The Gourmet Trail" which offers a culinary exploration of five destinations on Vancouver and Salt Spring Islands, including The Wickaninnish, The Aerie Resort, The Empress Hotel and Sooke Harbour House.

    The Winter Romance package includes overnight accommodations for two, five-course dinner, in-room massage for two, a winter picnic and afternoon tea. The package is available through Dec. 29 beginning at a price of $999 (CAN), not including tax and gratuity.

    The New Year's Eve package includes two night accommodations for two, five-course dinner, evening entertainment and champagne toast. The package is available on Dec. 30-31 beginning at a price of $899 (CAN), not including tax and gratuity.
