Mammoth Cave is drawing big crowds
MAMMOTH CAVE, Ky. (AP) — Officials with Mammoth Cave National Park say 2009 was the best year for tourism at the park in almost a decade, with 14 percent more visitors than 2008.
In a news release, park officials said more than 403,000 people went on a cave tour at the park last year, and an additional 100,000 used the park for other recreational activities.
