After Hours: Salmon kayak tours starting Sept. 18

Paul Dorn, a fisheries biologist with 30 years of experience, goes on many of the tours to talk about efforts to restore salmon runs.

INDIANOLA — As salmon begin returning to local streams, the Olympic Outdoor Center is offering private and group salmon kayak tours from Sept. 18 through Nov. 13 on Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Miller Bay in Indianola or Silverdale's Chico Creek. No experience is necessary and groups of up to 40 people of all ages can be accommodated.
