Dignity Partners, Inc., has entered into an exclusive representation agreement with Seattle resident Richard Kamenshine. Alan Perper, president of the San Francisco-based national viatical settlements firm announced the agreement. A viatical settlement in a method by which terminally ill insured can gain access to their life insurance death benefits while still living, freeing themselves from the financial devastation usually associated with terminal illness and disability. Kamenshine has more than 25 years' experience in the insurance and securities industries.
Julie Grant, a trustee of South Puget Sound Community College since 1988, has been named president of the Trustees Association for Community Colleges of Washington. She will serve a one-year term. The Trustees Association, which was chartered in 1968, coordinates the development and maintenance of the state community and technical college education program.
Hart Brewing is changing its name to Pyramid Breweries Inc. The name change highlights the company's major brand, popular and award-winning Pyramid Ales, sales of which represent more than two-thirds of the company's business. Pyramid Ales are brewed at the company's historic Kalama, Washington brewery and at its flagship Seattle brewery. The company plans to open The Pyramid Ales Brewery and Alehouse in Berkeley to provide fresh beer throughout California and Nevada.

TeamDesign, Inc. has added Terry Wakayama and Michelle Monette to its multimedia and online department. Steve Denner has joined Dain Bosworth as a senior vice president and investment officer in its Seattle office. Denner will assist individual and corporate clients. He will also help clients in developing retirement plans and money management programs.
The Rotary Club of South Kitsap will hold its charter dinner at Mary Mac's Restaurant at McCormick Woods on Monday, July 15, at 7 pm. Due to demand from key retailers, Brooks Sports is launching a line of running and fitness apparel for spring 1997. To support the new line Brooks has hired Barry Garlick, apparel operations manager, Julie Whiteaker, apparel product line manager and Mick Whiteaker, apparel sales manager. Headquartered in Bothell, Brooks distributes athletic footwear, apparel and accessories in more than 80 countries.

Paul A. Konrady has been named project manager for Oki Developments, Inc., where he will oversee development of the Golf Club at Newcastle and other ventures. Prior to joining Oki, Konrady, a registered professional engineer, held various management positions at W&H Pacific in Bellevue. During nearly two decades of work there he managed planning, environmental, engineering and surveying services for a number of projects including golf courses.
Jonathan A. Scott has joined Crown West Realty as controller. Scott will use his five years of experience in public accounting to manage financial reporting and assimilate financial information for the Spokane Business and Industrial Park and other properties owned and managed by Crown West Realty.
The Real Estate Program at WSU will offer televised undergraduate and graduate classes this fall in Seattle, Spokane and the Tri-Cities. These classes will be broadcast live from the WSU campus in Pullman and will be taught by WSU faculty. "Real Estate Principles" (Real Estate 305) and "Advanced Topics in Real Estate" (Real Estate 522) will be presented over WSU's Washington Higher Education Telecommunications System (WHETS) beginning this fall. The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Seattle signed a five-year lease for nearly 10,000 square feet of warehouse and office space in South Seattle to expand its bed making operations for low income people and increase job training opportunities for the disadvantaged. The new building is located at 2963 Utah Ave. South in Seattle. It will enable St. Vincent to increase production of beds from 500 to 700 a month; distribute beds to other Northwest non-profits organizations; expand job training opportunities and reupholster hide-a-beds, couches and chairs.
Cardinal Realty Services, Inc. which announced that it will acquire Lexford Properties, Inc., has reached an agreement with Stanley R. Fimberg and Ralph V. Williams to assist Cardinal in its pursuit of acquisition and other growth opportunities in multi-family real estate.
The July 17 meeting of the National Association of Office and Industrial Parks (NAIOP) will feature Michael L. Hallmark, principal with NBBJ Sports and Entertainment. Hallmark will speak about new sports facilities, including the new Mariners ball park, and the incorporation of urban entertainment and revenue-generating amenities. Hallmark will also highlight his experience with a wide range of sports/entertainment projects from Washington Redskins Stadium in Washington D.C. to the Ala Wai Gateway project in Honolulu. Last year Hallmark joined NBBJ with longtime partners Ron Turner and Dan Meis to establish NBBJ Sports and Entertainment in Los Angeles. The cost of the NAIOP meeting is $18 for members and $28 for non-members. The breakfast will be held on July 17 at F.X. McRory's from 7:30 to 9 a.m.
