Gordon, Thomas, Honeywell

Charles W. Begg has been named the first executive director at Gordon, Thomas, Honeywell, Malanca, Peterson & Daheim, a law firm with offices in Seattle and Tacoma. Begg recently managed a law firm in Southern California. Attorney Juliana T. Kendall has been named an associate and will focus on general litigation and business law.

Miller Nash

Miller Nash has hired Michelle L. Valier as an associate in its Seattle law office. Valier practices labor and employment law, with a special emphasis on employment discrimination and wrongful discharge issues.

Foster Pepper & Shefelman

Cliff Spencer has joined the Portland office of Foster Pepper & Shefelman as an associate practicing business and corporate law.

Moss Adams

Moss Adams has made promotions in its Seattle office, including Mike Hefferman and Melody Randall to managers; Andy Cates, Fred Frank, Jana Larson and Chance Sullivan to supervisor/personal financial consultant; Rosemary Murphy to supervisor/pension consultant; Jeff Fey, Brian Jacobson, Kurt Lippmann, Mary Peterson, Bret Rutter, Cyndi Schoenbachler, Julie Smith, David Snyder and Jin Zhang to seniors.

Microserv Inc.

Microserv Inc., a Kirkland-based hardware support services company, has hired Linda Kurt as accounts payable specialist; Michelle Villa as sales administrator; and Linda LaBrue as executive assistant. Rick Burris was promoted to field service operations manager; John Culbertson and Dan Tuma were promoted to field service representative leads; Malcolm Edwards was promoted to remote operations analyst; Chris Higbie was promoted to senior PC technician lead; Steve Lightfoot was promoted to senior inventory planner/analyst; Toni Carey was promoted to Buyer II; Todd Frederickson was promoted to inventory analyst II; Toni Allen-Ellingson was promoted to human resources administrator; and Laura Brown was promoted to senior customer account administrator.

Northwest AIDS Foundation

Seattle-based Northwest AIDS Foundation, the Pacific Northwest's largest AIDS service organization, has appointed Lee Heck, major gifts and planned giving manager, to director of development. Carol Borgmann, the director of development for six-and- a-half years, will be working for MusicWorks Northwest.

Windermere

Windermere Real Estate has added four new people to Seattle-area offices. Larry Priest is new to the Renton office as director of commercial services. He has 18 years' experience in Puget Sound commercial markets, most recently with Coldwell Banker, Danforth Commercial. Jamee Rakus and John Enger have joined the West Seattle-Fauntleroy office as sales agents. And Dana Johnston is the new agent in the Queen Anne office. Also at Windermere, the fifth annual Windermere Symposium will attract more than 2,000 of the company's associates to Meydenbauer Center on July 22 and 23. The symposium is Windermere's premier educational event, featuring nationally known speakers, 25 educational sessions and a trade show.

John L. Scott Real Estate Network has added hired new agents across the Northwest. In the Seattle area, Cynthia Morriss and Janice Peterson have joined the Bellevue South office. Gerda Franc, Harry Shepperton and Kelly Spadafore are new in the Issaquah-Eastside office. Jim Eagle and Len Eng have joined the Kent office, while Brian Henry and Kathy Ogle are new to Kirkland. Diane Anderson is the newcomer in the Laurelhurst office. In Redmond, Colin Hain-Davidson and Howard McMillen are new. And Heather Clemons is the new agent in Renton.
