Mechanical contractor Holaday-Parks has hired Juliana Lear as an administrative assistant in its service department and Melissa Tahirak as an engineering assistant in its administrative group.
The Rod Hahn Co., a Seattle-based residential remodeler, has brought on William S. Taulbee as its operations manager. Taulbee is responsible for the company's daily production operations, personnel training and growth, and new business development. He holds bachelor's degrees in civil engineering and liberal arts.
Allied Construction Associates of Everett has hired Roger Caldwell as an estimator/project manager. Caldwell has 20 years of field and management experience in all phases of commercial construction. He is currently managing renovations of five schools for the Edmonds School District.
Jace Munson has joined Jim Phillips and Pat Berschauer as a principal at Berschauer Phillips Construction. Munson is assuming the duties of chief executive officer of the corporation. He joined Berschauer Phillips in 1995, and has 17 years of experience in the construction industry.
Seattle general contractor Lease Crutcher Lewis has hired several administrative workers. The additions include Karrin Kassell, Dan McElwee and Jack Smeltzer. Kassell is assigned to the company's ongoing renovations at Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center. She attended Seattle's Lutheran Bible Institute. McElwee is working at the Sunset North office project in Bellevue. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Syracuse University, and worked last for the Military Entrance Processing Station. Smeltzer is working out of the main office in the Special Projects Division. He previously worked for McDonnell Douglas Helicopter and Consolidated Freightways.
Dave Shelton was recently named director of golf at Indian Summer Golf & Country Club in Olympia. Shelton formerly served as a golf director at Echo Falls Country Club near Woodinville.
Dr. Susan Carroll, president of Everett Community College for the past seven years, has been named president of Feather River College in northern California. Carroll will begin her new position in August.
Imagio Technology Advertising and Public Relations, a Seattle-based advertising firm, recently hired Paul Rakov to lead the public relations Internet/e-commerce group; Megan McQueen as an assistant account executive; Laura Dodd as an account executive; and Stefanie Johnson as an administrative supporter. Rakov formerly served as a senior account executive at the Horn Group in San Francisco and Dodd formerly worked at Community Connections in Seattle.
Northwest Hospital recently added Cheryl R. Jacobs, MD, as a primary care physician specializing in internal medicine. Jacobs formerly served as acting instructor in internal medicine at Harborview Medical Center.
The Boeing Co. and Aviation Partners recently formed Aviation Partners Boeing, a joint venture the offers blended winglet technology for in-service Boeing commercial airplanes. Joe Clark, currently CEO and co-owner of Aviation Partners Inc., will manage the new venture.
Kirkland-based Confirma announced the appointment of Patricia A. Milbank, JD, RAC, as vice president for clinical and regulatory affairs. She has held director and vice president positions in legal, regulatory, clinical and quality affairs capacities at American Hospital Supply Corp., Syntex and NeoPath. Confirma is a development-stage medical device company focused on magnetic resonance data analysis software and database products.
