Mark Walters has joined Riddell Williams, a full-service law firm with an office in Seattle, as an associate member of the firm's intellectual property practice group. Walters practice includes trademark and copyright prosecution and licensing. Before joining Riddell Williams, he worked as an associate at Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker in Seattle.
EverTrust Financial Group, the holding company for Everett Mutual Bank, announced that its board of directors has appointed Michael R. Deller to the position of president of Everett Mutual Bank. Deller assumes full responsibility for all operations of the bank and the development and execution of strategic direction for the bank as it expands into new geographic areas.
Dr. Andrew Issacs, a doctor of chiropractic, was recently honored with the "Distinguished Service Award" by the Washington State Chiropractic Association. Issacs was recognized for his dedicated service, leadership and contribution to the chiropractic profession. He practiced in Seattle for 32 years an is now retired.
West Coast Bank, a Northwest bank holding company operating 41 offices in Oregon and Washington, has named David Sinclair senior vice president of retail lending. Sinclair will be managing all consumer lending activities for the company's Wilsonville, Ore. customer support center. He has more than 27 years of experience in the banking, industry including serving as senior vice president for U.S. Bancorp since 1992.

Tech-Fast, a Tacoma-based supplier of buildings for the self storage industry, has added three new support staffers. Tom Smith is a project manager, Kris Kammerer is a production detailer and Matt Corday is an accounts payable clerk.
Heron Beach Inn, located in Port Ludlow, has announced that Michael Peterson has taken over the helm of their kitchen as the Inn's new executive chef. Peterson has more than 26 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He is a certified executive chef and currently serves as the vice president of the Washington State Chef's Association.
Peter H. Sakurai is the featured speaker for the next session of the Executive Breakfast Briefing series presented by the Japanese American Chamber of Commerce. Sakurai is a international marketing expert with more than 25 years experience in the US/Japan business environment. TVSea, Seattle's municipal cable channel, was honored with four first-place awards in the Alliance for Community Media's "Best of the Northwest" contest, which honors outstanding community television programs from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming and Alberta and British Columbia. Of the six programs Seattle entered the four that won were: At Their Fingertips (Human Understanding category), Voices of the WTO (Documentary) and A View From Here (The Northwest)
