Webforia, a Bellevue-based provider of Web-based communications tools and services, announced the appointment of Garry Diver as chief operating officer. With more than 15 years of operational and general management experience, Diver will work closely with the company’s executive management team to execute its strategic business plan and manage day-to-day operations. Most recently, Diver served as president and CEO for Bradley Ward, a provider of process-control software for the food industry.
Merrill Gardens, a Seattle-based company which owns and operates retirement communities across the U.S., has appointed Wendy Gardner managing director of quality services. Gardner’s primary responsibilities include directing the assisted-living component and coordination of the quality assurance program for Merrill Gardens. The company has promoted Morei Lingle to manager of corporate training. Lingle will be responsible for the training and development of all new and existing Merrill Gardens employees. Also promoted was Karen Gorsuch, to regional director of operations for Merrill Gardens communities in Florida. She had previously served as general manager of Merrill Gardens at Lutz.
Traffic Safety Commission Director John Moffat has been selected to chair the National Association of Governors' Highway Safety Representatives (NAGHSR). Moffat is a former captain of the Seattle Police Department and a nationally recognized expert in the area of pedestrian law enforcement and safety. NAGHSR is comprised of the directors of all state traffic safety offices and advises the Congress and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on issues related to state implementation of traffic safety laws and programs.
Pacific Aerospace & Electronics, a Wenatchee-based integrated manufacturing company specializing in technically demanding components and assemblies, announced that Dr. David Cutter has joined the company's Applied Technology division and is focusing on technology development and product applications for fuel cell and implantable medical device markets. Cutter brings nearly 15 years of experience to PA&E in equipment and process engineering technologies in the semiconductor industry. Most recently, he was employed by Siemens AG and Technics Plasma GmbH.
CallVision, a Seattle-based provider of Internet billing and call analysis for the telecommunications industry, recently named Todd Stone vice president of marketing. Stone is responsible for directing CallVision's marketing programs, focusing on increasing awareness of the CallVision position in the telecom and electronic bill payment and presentment space, as well as drive end-user adoption of CallVision's applications collaboratively with the company's Telco clients.
Micropath, a Bellvue-based provider of technology asset management services and products, named Genevieve Malone Northeast regional sales manager. Malone is responsible for establishing contacts and relationships with the company's business partners in the Northeast U.S. region. She was employed with IBM for over
HCI Steel Building Systems of Arlington has appointed Kirby Tiller as a project manager for its West Coast operations. Tiller relocated from Knoxville, Tenn., and has many years of experience in the metal building industry. HCI is a manufacturer and designer of pre-engineered building systems. It is currently expanding its builder base in the U.S., Canada and the Pacific Rim.
