Aaron L. Adee has joined Seattle office of Burkett, Burdette & Van Kampen as an associate. He will practice in the firm's litigation and securities arbitration group. Adee was previously with Preston Gates & Ellis.
Charter Bank hired Julie Maros as vice president and mortgage originator for the bank's new mortgage lending division. The new division will originate and broker long-term residential home loans. Most recently, Maros was director of operations at Widevine Technologies.
Brian D. Orton is the new vice president, business development at Northwestern Trust. Prior to this appointment, Orton was vice president and financial consultant for D.A. Davidson & Co. Northwestern Trust provides a wide range of wealth management services from its downtown Seattle location.
Tully's Coffee is now being sold at 86 QFC stores in Washington. Eight different roasts are available in 12-ounce bags including a seasonal holiday roast. With the addition of the QFC outlets, Tully's is now available in more than 454 grocery stores including Albertson's Larry's Markets and Safeway.
Albertsons.com announced the winners of its second annual Design-a-Truck art and coloring contest. With the theme "celebrate Seattle," students at Seattle-area elementary schools created mural designs with their impressions of the Emerald City. Designs by Coe Elementary in Seattle, Kennydale Elementary in North Auburn, Marshall Elementary in Marysville and Sultan Elementary in East Snohomish County will be displayed on 15 Albertsons.com delivery trucks from December through March.

John Rindlaub will retire as Northwest president at Bank of America. Rindlaub has been with Bank of America since 1989, when he was manager of its Asia division based in Hong Kong. Rindlaub is currently on the board of directors at Alaska Airlines, Washington Roundtable, Pacific Science Center, Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce, Pacific Rim Bankers Program and Washington State China Relations Council. He recently served as vice chair of the governor's Blue Ribbon Commission on Transportation. Rindlaub will remain in Seattle upon retirement.
A new neighborhood police office will open in Pioneer Square, the result of a partnership among the Seattle Police Department, the South Downtown Foundation and the Pioneer Square Community Association. A 26-year veteran of the Seattle Police Department, Mike Brasfield, will be the new public safety coordinator for the South Downtown neighborhoods of Pioneer Square, the Chinatown/International District and the Duwamish. The office is located at 119 First Ave. S., in the Maynard Building.
Clay Stobaugh has joined the executive team at Applied Discovery as vice president, managing director. Stobaugh held senior positions for Reuters America and Nestle. Applied Discovery develops electronic discovery solutions for the legal industry and is based in Bellevue.
HomeStreet Bank is reorganizing its senior executive team. Richard S. Swanson, chairman and CEO will transfer CEO responsibilities to Bruce W. Williams, currently president and COO. Former Bank of America executive Joan Enticknap will become president and COO. Swanson will remain chairman of the bank board, and Williams will remain chairman of the board of the holding company, HomeStreet, Inc. Williams is the son of HomeStreet Bank long-time president and chairman emeritus Walter B. Williams and the grandson of the company's first employee and long-time president W. Walter Williams. This new position will make Williams a third generation CEO of the company. Enticknap moves to HomeStreet Bank from a 23-year career with Bank of America, formerly Seafirst Bank.
West Coast Bancorp expanded its Vancouver business banking team. Lori Lindsell and Jim Wilmarth will both serve as vice president and relationship managers. Lindsell has been with US Bank in Vancouver for 30 years. Wilmarth has 16 years of commercial lending and relationship banking experience, most recently with Bank of America in Vancouver. Bob Pascalar is assistant relationship manager and was previously with First Mutual Bank's commercial real estate loan production office.
Columbia Bank, has promoted three people in its Bellevue branches. Bob MacIsaac, vice president and commercial banking officer, is now vice president branch manager of Columbia's Bellevue Way branch. Rebecca Holverson, branch supervisor of the Bellevue Plaza branch, is manager at that branch. Jeff Wemhoff, formerly manager of the Bellevue Plaza branch, is assistant vice president and commercial banking officer at the Bellevue Plaza office. Columbia Bank currently has 32 branches in King, Pierce, Kitsap, Thurston and Cowlitz counties.
Kirby L. Cramer has been named to the board of directors of Seattle-based pharmaceutical development company Corus Pharma. Cramer is the current chairman emeritus of Hazleton Laboratories (now known as Covance). Corus Pharma is develops products for respiratory and infectious diseases
