Howard Nakase was named golf course superintendent of The Plateau Club, an Oki Golf property located on the Sammamish Plateau. Nakase is the former assistant superintendent at The Golf Club, also an Oki Golf property, in Newcastle. Oki Golf is a Bellevue-based golf ownership and management company.
Karen S. Feldt, former associate professor at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing, joined the executive team at ERA Care Communities as chief of community health. Feldt will oversee the wellness clinics, assisted living and recreation programs, and direct skilled nursing operations at the Ida Culver House Broadview Nursing Care Center. ERA, based in Seattle, owns and manages six retirement communities within the Puget Sound area.
Robert B. Pollack was promoted to vice president manufacturing services and assistant manager of Longview pulp-paper mill for Longview Fibre Co., a manufacturer of paper packaging products. Pollack, former chief engineer, succeeds Thomas E. Vaught, who retired Jan 1.
Branch Richards & Co., a Seattle-based accounting and consulting firm, promoted Chi Lee to senior accountant and hired Jennifer Batuyong in its small business and tax department. Lee, a CPA, has been with Branch for over three years.
Hidden Hands Services, a Spokane-based company that specializes in event planning for both private and corporate parties, opened a second branch in Redmond. This location will provide catering, childcare, airport shuttles, house cleaning, food service and event planning. The company will use profits and excess food from events to help the Seattle-area homeless community.

Victoria L. Yaros, CDi's director of business resources, has been promoted to associate. She has been with the firm since 1997, and has 25 years of experience in business management. She is responsible for the firm's human resources management; financial and accounting management; contract review and project administration; facilities management; and general office, information services, and administrative staff management. Yaros is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management.
Ding Ye, a design engineer at Reid Middleton in Everett, recently received his Washington Civil Engineering Professional Engineer's license.
Ye has seven years of experience in civil, environmental and construction engineering. He has experience in site development, environmental restoration, construction management and purchasing. He recently provided civil engineering design for the Green River Community College Technology Center, the Snohomish County campus redevelopment and the Ault Field sewage lagoon closure on Whidbey Island.

Kenneth Roberts, associate, has 28 years of architectural experience, specializing in commercial, institutional and residential design, as well as project management. He has four years with MulvannyG2 in its corporate office in Bellevue, and has transferred to Portland to work on projects for clients such as Target, WinCo Foods, Fred Meyer and Nike.
Richard Shavey, senior technical architect, has 25 years of architectural experience and transferred to Portland after working with MulvannyG2 in Bellevue for five years. He has experience in construction management, working with clients such as Target, Walgreens and Fred Meyer.
Randy Sauer, project manager, has 11 years of experience in architecture and is responsible for organizing, developing, planning and managing projects related to development, design and construction. He was one of the first 10 to become LEED accredited in Oregon.
