The Kenmore-based company Information Technology Consulting Group recently named Bruce C. Trumbull director of sales and marketing. He has held sales positions with IBM, Lotus, Asymetrix (The Paul Allen Group) and Cellular Technical Services. He has also managed sales for large enterprise accounts such as Boeing, Weyerhaeuser, AT&T and Intel.
Griffin, Hill & Associates, a management consulting firm based in Rainier Valley, promoted Rebecca Standish to principal in charge of business development. She has been consulting with the firm for three years and has worked on projects for Sound Transit and the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency. Darrell Powell recently joined the firm as principal in charge of operations. Powell has more than 20 years of finance experience.
Mick Purdy and Adrian Kelly, both from Ireland, recently opened Mick Kelly's Irish pub in Burien. A grand opening will be held Friday with free Irish music at 7 p.m. Purdy runs O'Shea's Easy Street Pub in Wallingford. Electrical contractor Cochran Inc. added Jeff Salter as project executive and Jim Werre as project manager. Salter comes from Sasco, where he spent five years as group president. He has more than 25 years of electrical industry experience. Werre also worked five years at Sasco, in his case as a project manager. At Cochran, Werre is working in the Special Projects Division. He has more than 17 years of industry experience.

Attorney General Rob McKenna recently hired Aaron Munn as a computer forensics investigator to fight high-tech fraud such as identity theft. Munn will be part of the Consumer Protection Division in Seattle. Munn has worked with high-tech companies and has 14 years of military experience. McKenna said Internet-related complaints accounted for more than half of all fraud reported to the Federal Trade Commission last year, with losses of more than $265 million.
Former Washington State Supreme Court Chief Justice James A. Andersen recently was picked to receive Washington Coalition for Open Government's first James Madison Award. The award goes to someone who has shown appreciation and respect for open government and the First Amendment. Andersen was one of the coalition's founding board members and has chaired its law committee.
Nancy Cohen was named program director at Cancer Lifeline. Janet Pearson is chief financial and operations officer. Cohen was at the University of Washington as a clinical supervisor and therapist in the School of Nursing. Pearson, who ran her own consulting business for five years, is returning to Cancer Lifeline. Other management staff are Development Director Lynda Woods and Executive Assistant Terrie Nixdorf.
