Tacoma-based company Russell Investment Group named Julia Cormier director of alternative investments for domestic services, based in Chicago. Cormier spent 10 years at Goldman Sachs in London. Russell Investment Group manages $148 billion in assets around the world.
Wendy Shattuck is assistant vice president for marketing and strategic communications at the University of Idaho. She has 18 years of experience, including work as public affairs director at Reed College in Portland.
Seattle-based OnRequest Images appointed Janice Mayo chief marketing officer and Tom Colombo chief financial officer. Mayo has 20 years of experience developing advertising. Colombo will manage accounting, human resources and legal departments. OnRequest provides custom imagery.
The Snohomish County Public Utility District's board of commissioners are seeking a replacement for general manager Ed Hansen, who will retire in June 2006. He joined the PUD in 2002, and was the mayor of Everett for eight years.
The Kirkland law firm of Snook Schwanz has changed its name to Snook Schwanz Kinerk and added a new member to the firm: Daniel L. Kinerk. The firm is still located at 25 Central Way, Suite 410.
Sterling Saving Bank has opened a new branch in Lynnwood at 19230 Alderwood Parkway, near the Alderwood mall. Jason Francis is the branch manager.
