Ryan, Swanson & Cleveland

The Seattle law firm of Ryan, Swanson & Cleveland said John Bender, Lance Losey and Paul Meier have been named members. Bender focuses on securities and financial services litigation. Losey is chair of the estate planning and probate practice group, and Meier is a member of the business and real estate groups.

FCS Group

FCS Group of Redmond, a public sector financial and management consulting firm, added Angie Sanchez to the management team. Sanchez has more than 12 years of experience in rate and financial planning for utilities. She was with HDR/EES in Bellevue and was a financial analyst for the Bonneville Power Administration.

IsoRay Medical

IsoRay Medical of Richland, manufacturer and distributor of the Cesium-131 radioisotope used in the treatment of disease, named Dr. Steven M. Kurtzman as medical advisor. Kurtzman was with Western Radiation Oncology in San Mateo, Calif.

BioPassword

Issaquah-based BioPassword, a software company that provides security and anti-fraud solutions based on behavioral biometrics of keystroke dynamics, named Mark Upson president and chief executive officer. BioPassword founder Mark DiSalle will remain chairman of the board.

Port of Tacoma Commission

Connie Bacon is the new president of the Port of Tacoma Commission, replacing R. Ted Bottiger, who will serve as assistant secretary in 2006. Other officers are Jack Fabulich, vice president, and Dick Marzano, secretary, and Clare Petrich, assistant secretary.

W.G. Clark Construction

W.G. Clark Construction added Dave Dalton and Neil Crawford as superintendents. Dalton has 24 years of industry experience, including running his own construction business. Crawford has over 35 years of experience, and has taught carpentry apprenticeship and trade extension courses.

BNBuilders

Seattle's BNBuilders hired Greg Bogard and Beyer Buman as project executives. Each has more than 20 years of industry experience. Bogard has experience with alternative delivery method projects, and is president of the Northwest Chapter of the Design-Build Institute of America. Buman is in charge of a proposed 150,000-square-foot medical office in Tacoma.

Lakeside Industries

Michael Lee was named president of Lakeside Industries in Issaquah. Lee has been with the company for 20 years, serving as estimator, division manager and vice president. He is taking the post from Timothy Lee, who moved to CEO.

MBA of King and Snohomish Counties

Donna Shirey of Shirey Contracting and Joe Schwab of Homestead Construction Services received the 2005 Remodeler of the Year award from the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties. Shirey is immediate past president of the MBA. Schwab is second vice president of the association and a founder of its Rampathon program. The award recognizes involvement in the MBA and the community.

Legacy Group

Seattle-based office furniture and flooring company Legacy Group added Amy Mallory as a project manager. Mallory is coordinating with specifications, operations and sales teams for on-time installations. She has nine years of industry experience.

Alerton

Alerton appointed Larry Haakenstad as its national sales manager. Haakenstad is responsible for sales growth in North America and is supporting international market development. He has been with the company for 21 years, most recently as western regional sales manager. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of North Dakota. Redmond-based Alerton makes building automation systems for HVAC equipment.
