Oki Golf

Oki Golf has hired Jon Schuller as marketing manager. He was director of game operations and special events for the Milwaukee Bucks. Oki Golf is a collection of seven golf courses, based in Bellevue.

Country Insurance

Ken Aubrey of Marysville has been named an agent for Country Insurance & Financial Services. Aubrey's office is at 2122 164th St. S.W. in Lynnwood.

Cairncross & Hempelmann

Diankha Linear, an associate at Cairncross & Hempelmann, has been named the 2006 Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year by the Washington State Bar Association. This is her fifth year with the firm.

Kohlhoff and Welch

Theresa M. Kohlhoff and Elizabeth E. Welch, a mother-daughter partnership, have opened a law firm at 5828 N. Lombard in Portland. They are both night-school graduates of Lewis & Clark Law School.

Clark Nuber

Clark Nuber, a CPA firm in Bellevue, has hired tax associate Janon Brown, administrative assistant Kelly Eskesen, audit intern Rebecca Homola, tax senior Laura Kinney, tax associate Myoung Jo Park, and tax senior Kaman Shiu.

ABC of Western Washington

The Associated Builders and Contractors of Western Washington hired Aran Buchan as director of government affairs. Buchan is responsible for assisting with legislation, some lobbying efforts, organizing grassroots activities, political fundraising and educating ABC members so that they can be more politically involved. He has worked as a clerk for Carney Badley Spellman Law and has run his own public relations firm. He holds a bachelor's degree in public relations from Central Washington University.

CITC of Washington

The Construction Industry Training Council of Washington hired Melissa Shrope as assistant to the vice president of apprenticeship and Mary Zacharias as client services coordinator. Shrope is responsible for dispatching apprentices, reporting apprentice work hours and wage increases, and taking apprenticeship applications. Zacharias is responsible for registering craft training students, maintaining student records and submitting training records, as well as being the liaison between the craft training instructors and CITC. Shrope previously worked in administration at Microsoft. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Washington State University. Zacharias previously worked in real estate in Michigan. She studied accounting at Southern Illinois University.

Lease Crutcher Lewis

Seattle's Lease Crutcher Lewis hired Jenna Kedziorski, Alan Stewart and Eric Holzer; promoted Kim McHugh and Michele Clute; and transferred Jeff Spencer. Kedziorski is an operations assistant and Stewart a project engineer in the Special Projects Division. Kedziorski holds a bachelor's degree from Seattle University and Stewart holds bachelor's degrees from Oregon State University and the University of Oregon. Holzer is a project engineer. He holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Washington. McHugh was promoted to project manager in the Tacoma office. She has been with the firm for three years and started in construction in 1999. Clute was promoted to chief estimator for the Special Projects Division. She holds a bachelor's degree from Fort Wright College and spent 14 years with the firm. Spencer was transferred to the Professional Services Division, where he works as a senior estimator. He has been with the firm since 1998.

Mayes Testing Engineers

Mayes Testing Engineers promoted inspector Mark McBride to project manager. McBride has 17 years of testing and inspection experience, 14 of those with Mayes. In his new role, he is providing project management and supervision of on-site inspections.

Jackson Dean Construction

Jackson Dean Construction hired Irena Bejsak as staff accountant, Mike O'Conner as safety manager and Jeremy Fern as marketing director. Bejsak was schooled in the Czech Republic and has 16 years of accounting experience. O'Conner has more than 28 years of industry experience, specializing in creating and managing safety programs. Fern has more than eight years of industry marketing experience.
