InfoSpace

InfoSpace appointed Allen Hsieh as chief financial officer. He has been interim chief financial officer since April and has been chief accounting officer since 2003. InfoSpace is based in Bellevue, providing entertainment and other content for mobile phones.

Foss Maritime

Seattle-based marine services company Foss Maritime has appointed Gary C. Faber as its president and chief operating officer. He has been executive vice president of Foss since 2001.

Fisher Communications

Fisher Communications has named Troy McGuire vice president of news and programming. McGuire was with “The Daily Buzz”, a national syndicated radio show. Fisher Communications is based in Seattle and operates 19 television stations and 27 radio stations in the Pacific Northwest.

Equipment financing company Radiance Capital in Tacoma has hired Michael G. Helm as credit manager. Helm has 25 years of experience in the lease and finance industry.

Kennedy/Jenks recently promoted Daniel A. Wu to vice president and appointed Jeffrey M. Foray as a principal in the firm. Both Wu and Foray are based in the Federal Way office. Wu is a principal with more than 21 years of experience in design, construction, streamlining and troubleshooting of industrial and manufacturing plants and processes. He is also a technology expert in the treatment and control of hazardous/industrial waste and wastewater. Foray is a mechanical engineer with more than 16 years of experience in construction and design of water, wastewater and industrial facilities. He serves as the quality assurance manager for the Federal Way office. His areas of expertise include pumping system design, building mechanical systems, standby power systems, chemical feed systems, cost estimating and code compliance.

W&H Pacific Landscape Architecture

Jim Nelson has been named division leader at W&H Pacific Landscape Architecture. Nelson began his career working on Hollywood resort projects such as the Ritz Carlton and working for HOK in San Francisco. After relocating to the Northwest, he worked for Murase Associates. At Murase, he began working with W&H Pacific on the Westside Light Rail project and the Nike campus expansion.

Art Anderson Associates

Art Anderson Associates recently added to its marine and facilities design personnel by hiring Greg York as a senior project manager and Larry Mizar as a marine electrical engineer. York will be responsible for the firm's shoreline and upland facilities projects. He will work on the Port of Bremerton's marina expansion and floating breakwater project. The project involves expanding the Bremerton Marina to more than 270 berths and installing a 1,400-foot floating breakwater to protect vessels from the wake of passing ferries. Mizar will provide support to a number of the firm's marine vessel renovation and repair projects. He will work with Washington State Ferries to provide on-call naval architecture and marine engineering support to the ferry fleet. He will be working directly with WSF personnel on a number of projects, beginning with a lighting project on the M/V Tacoma.
