Mercer Island-based GMI, a global market intelligence solutions provider, hired Michael A. Brochu as CEO. Brochu has 20 years of experience and was recently the president and CEO of Loudeye.
Kirkland-based Electronic Evidence Discovery, an eDiscovery software and services provider, hired David McCann as president and chief executive officer. McCann worked for FileNet, an IBM company. He replaces CEO and company founder John Jessen, who now assumes the title of chairman of the board.
Washington Mutual Leadership Center at Cedarbrook, a leadership development center in SeaTac, hired David Cecil as its new executive director of operations. Cecil was the general manager and chief operating officer of Fox Chapel Golf Club in Pittsburgh.
Pam Bissonnette, director of King County's Department of Natural Resources and Parks, is retiring after a 30-year career in government. Bissonnette has been the department's only director and led the merger between Metro Wastewater Services and King County Utility Services to create the department 11 years ago. Theresa Jennings has been appointed to serve as acting director.
Everett-based Intermec hired Phil Danner as vice president of engineering. Danner worked with General Electric for 15 years. He succeeds Mike Abel, who has taken a position as vice president, program management with the company. Intermec develops, manufactures and integrates chain asset technologies.
Attorney General Rob McKenna announced Gretchen Leanderson has been promoted to division chief of the Tacoma Division. Leanderson has 16 years experience with the office and has served as assistant attorney general in the Torts Division and the Labor and Industries Section. She replaces Linda Moran as chief.



Hill International, a global construction consulting firm, hired D. Mark Gerboth as vice president in its Project Management Group. Gerboth will initially be working with the U.S. Department of Energy in Richland. He has more than 20 years of experience managing federal design and construction projects. He holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry, a master's degree in chemical engineering and an MBA, all from the University of Washington. He is a registered professional engineer in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska.
Snyder Roofing of Washington received GAF's Master Select Training Excellence Award. Only 2 percent of the roofing contractors in the country have earned the award, which recognizes a firm's dedication to continuous education and training through the Center for Advancement of Roofing Excellence.
