Virginia Mason Medical Center

Virginia Mason Medical Center hired three pediatricians. Jenny Vengalil was hired at the Federal Way clinic. Gabe Berson was hired at the Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine Clinic in downtown Seattle. Kristin Nyweide was hired at the Sand Point clinic.

PSF Mechanical

PSF Mechanical hired Nate Wenisch and Travern Wallace. Wenisch is a service/TAB technician in the Service Department and Wallace returned to the company as a sheet metal foreman. Wallace has worked in the HVAC industry for nine years.

Hill International

Thomas L. Woodworth joined Hill International as vice president of the Information Management Solutions group in Bellevue. Woodworth is managing the daily operations of the group and is charge of project teams that plan, design and implement electronic data management systems. He holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from Ferris State University. Hill is a worldwide construction consulting firm.

Axis Financial

Axis Financial, a Northwest construction loan broker based in Seattle, launched a new Web site: http://www.WeFundConstruction.com. The Web site took nine months to develop.

Vietnamese Friendship Association

The Vietnamese Friendship Association in Seattle hired Vu Le as executive director. Le joined VFA in 2005 and served two terms as a member of the Dan Than Corps, which translates to “be the change.” The nonprofit agency focuses on ensuring Vietnamese children receive quality education.

Gene Juarez Salons & Spas

Bellevue-based Gene Juarez Salons & Spas plans to open a full service salon and spa in the University Village shopping center. Construction on the 8,500-square-foot space next to Crate & Barrel will break ground in February of 2008, with grand opening slated for August.

ZenZui

Seattle-based ZenZui, a mobile phone browsing company, hired Michael Vernon as chief financial officer. Vernon was chief financial officer at aQuantive between 2000 and 2006.

Resolute Solutions

Bellevue-based Resolute Solutions Corp., a business and technology consulting firm, hired Russell L. Cooper as director of legal affairs. Cooper has practiced law with Stanislaw Ashbaugh, Davis Wright Tremaine and K&L Gates.
