Hall Equities Group

Adams
Kim Adams joined Hall Equities Group as director of the Northwest division. He will be involved in investments and developments, including shopping centers in Everett and Bellevue, apartments in Vancouver, and existing developments in the south Puget Sound region. Those include business parks, hotels, retail, apartments and residential projects. He will also open a Northwest regional office in Olympia. Adams was previously with Coldwell Banker Commercial.

Su Development

Trogdon
Su Development hired Linda Abe as assistant director of development and Denise Trogdon as marketing and leasing manager. Abe will manage design consultants during the site plan conceptualization and product design phases, work with the city of Bellevue to meet its guidelines, and support the land acquisition, forward-planning and entitlement processes. Abe previously was a senior urban planner with EDAW and Trogdon was a real estate adviser for retail leasing at Starbucks Coffee Co.

Lorig

Lorig hired Matthew Holzemer as project manager and Robert Bump as project accountant. Holzemer will manage real estate development projects, including new construction and renovation of residential, mixed-use, office and specialty buildings. He received an MBA in May from Cornell University and has been in construction and development for seven years. Bump will do cost/contract accounting on development projects, as well as financial statements and tax preparation. He previously worked at Northrop Grumman as a program control accountant.

Setting up shop in Seoul

Coldwell Banker Republic of Korea has opened its first office in Seoul, South Korea. Coldwell Banker said one of the major growth opportunities for the brand is outside the United States. South Korea has an estimated per capita gross domestic product of $25,500 for 2007, moderate inflation, low unemployment and fairly equal distribution of income, the firm said.

Guerrilla marketing

Author Mike Watson, agent/investor Jason Sant and the NW Real Estate team will host a Jan. 17 seminar on how to be profitable in today's market. The event will be held 6:30-9 p.m. at the Doubletree Hotel-Seattle Airport, 18740 International Blvd. Tickets are $19 to $29. Pre-registration is required through http://www.nw-re.com.

Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt

Jennifer Wyatt, an associate at the Pacific Northwest law firm of Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, was appointed vice chair of the Women in the Profession Committee of the American Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division. She was also reappointed to the Washington State Bar Association's Professionalism Committee for 2008.

Kibble & Prentice

Kibble & Prentice, an insurance and financial services company, hired Scott Summers as vice president in the Commercial Insurance Division.

Jobster

Seattle-based Jobster, an online career network, hired Jeff Seely as chief executive officer. Seely was CEO at ShareBuilder in Bellevue. He succeeds Jobster founder Jason Goldberg, who will transition to the role of vice chairman of the board of directors.

Ascentium

Bellevue-based Ascentium, an interactive, marketing and technology consulting firm, acquired Miller.WhiteRunkle, an advertising agency with offices in Spokane, Seattle and Atlanta. The acquisition will help Ascentium develop national branding and advertising capabilities.

Ater Wynne

Rob Roy Smith joined the law firm Ater Wynne's Seattle office. Smith is a federal American Indian law attorney who has served as counsel to numerous tribes and is an adjunct professor of federal Indian law at Seattle University School of Law.
