Law firm Stoel Rives announced new principals in its Seattle office. They are Serena Carlsen, Karl Oles, Vanessa Soriano Power and Alan Ross. Carlsen works in the Real Estate Practice Group. Oles works in the Construction and Design Section. Soriano Power works in the Litigation Practice Group. Ross works in the Employee Benefits Practice Group.
Kibble & Prentice, an insurance and financial services company, hired Eleni Carras and Sam Davidson as sales executives in the Employee Benefits Division.
Hidden City Games hired Joshua Howard to the new post of senior vice president of Bella Sara Online, an online horse-themed game for girls. Howard spent 15 years at Microsoft where he was recently group manager for Carbonated Games. Hidden City Games is a game publisher headquartered in Seattle.




Steve Boggess joined Walsh Construction Co.'s Seattle team as a superintendent. Boggess is working on the YWCA @ Greenbridge project, which includes a King County branch library and an adult learning center.

Seattle-based family law firm McKinley Irvin hired Christina L. Smith as an associate attorney. Smith practiced civil insurance defense litigation and has worked with Clark County Legal Services of Las Vegas.
The Bellevue office of Parker, Smith & Feek, an insurance and risk management brokerage firm, announced Jeff Murphy is a new shareholder. Murphy is an account executive in the commercial insurance division. The firm has also elected new vice presidents. They are Steve Brown, Jennifer Stankovich, Susan Larson and Kellie Mackie.
Seattle-based Earth Class Mail, a global service that delivers postal mail online, hired Carl Hicks Jr. as chief operating officer. Hicks is a former U.S. Army officer that spent 22 years in various leadership positions in the Army. Earth Class also hired John Betzina, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, as operations manager in the Beaverton, Ore., mail processing hub. Betzina has also worked for Oregon Transfer Co.
Columbia Hospitality in Bremerton promoted Terry Halvorson to general manager of the Kitsap Conference Center at Bremerton Harborside. Halvorson replaces Erik Ruud. Halvorson was director of conference services at Bell Harbor International Conference Center in Seattle, also managed by Columbia Hospitality.
Providence Hospice of Seattle hired Ross Hayes as the medical director for the Stepping Stones Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Care Program.
