The Resort at Port Ludlow named Paul Wolman general manager. Wolman has 21 years of experience in the hospitality business and was general manager at the Santa Barbara Inn in Santa Barbara, Calif.

Northwest Minority Business Council

Vicky Schiantarelli, manager of the State Office of Minority and Women's Business Enterprises Seattle King County Office, was awarded the 2007 Champion Award by the Northwest Minority Business Council. The award goes to a public sector employee who is committed to creating business opportunities for minority-owned firms. Schiantarelli has worked for OMWBE since 1996.

Arc of King County

Sylvia Fuerstenberg was hired as executive director of The Arc of King County. Arc is a nonprofit organization serving children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families. Fuerstenberg has worked for disability rights and worked at S.L. Start.

GA Creative

GA Creative, a graphic design and marketing firm in Bellevue, hired Lisa Halpern as a writer and Laurel Callaway as office coordinator. Halpern will work in the strategy and content group. Callaway will ensure the office works efficiently and creatively.

Hacker Group

Hacker Group, a direct marketing advertising agency, is relocating its company headquarters to downtown Seattle after 21 years in Bellevue. The agency will occupy three floors in the Financial Center building at 1215 Fourth Ave. It will move in May.
