Stan Thesenvitz joined PSF Mechanical as a purchasing agent. Thesenvitz has worked in the industry for more than 34 years. PSF is a design/build HVAC contractor providing wet and dry side system designs.
Julie McBride, vice president and co-founder of MC Construction Consultants, is the new Built Green committee chair for the Olympia Master Builders. McBride is overseeing the OMB Built Green committee in promoting environmentally sound building practices. She will serve as chair through the end of the year.


Vulcan Sports & Entertainment hired Gary Wright, a Seahawks vice president, as senior vice president of business operations for the new major league soccer team. Wright will oversee all business operations for the club. He joined the Seahawks in 1976 as director of publicity and spent the last 21 years as a vice president.
The U.S. Small Business Administration's Seattle District Office named Lori Jo Knoles, vice president and relationship manager at State Bank Northwest in Spokane, as the 2008 Washington State Financial Services Champion. Knoles has worked in the field for 20 years.

Garvey Schubert Barer named Leo C. Peng chief representative and managing director of the Beijing office. Peng was an attorney in GSB's Seattle office but relocated to Beijing in 2007 to help spearhead growth plans in the greater China area, and represent Chinese interests in the United States.
Seattle law firm Helsell Fetterman added four new partners: Natalie Beckmann, Michael Harman, Connie Haslam and Laura Hoexter. Beckmann concentrates on divorce and family law practice. Harman concentrates on estate planning, taxation and business and real estate transactions. Haslam concentrates on civil litigation. Hoexter concentrates on estate planning and probate issues.
Studio Boum, an event research boutique for individuals and corporations, opened a new boutique in Fremont. The boutique is a space where customers can receive personalized vendor recommendations and view portfolios of vendors as they plan an event.
