Sip. at the wine bar & restaurant has opened a Seattle location at Fifth and Madison in downtown Seattle. Cody Reaves is executive chef. Reaves has worked at El Gaucho, Pacific Grill and Sip. Issaquah.
Sterling Financial hired Donn Costa as acting president of Golf Savings Bank, subject to regulatory approval. Golf Savings Bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sterling and is headquartered in Mountlake Terrace. Costa has been with the bank since 1994 and has been executive vice president since 2006 when the bank was acquired by Sterling.
Specialty's Cafe & Bakery will open a new location in Seattle's central business district in Schnitzer West's 1918 Eighth Office Tower. Specialty's will also offer Peet's Coffee & Tea.
Bellevue-based Estorian, a provider of software solutions for e-discovery archiving and compliance, named Kevin Riegelsberger president and chief executive officer, and David Weber vice president of marketing. Riegelsberger was CEO of CapitalStream, an integrated software platform provider for commercial banks and finance companies. Weber was vice president of marketing for Applied Discovery, a LexisNexis company and electronic discovery solutions company.

The Washington team at Wells Fargo Private Bank hired Rich King as a vice president and wealth consultant. King was with Marquis Jet Partners as vice president of sales in the Pacific Northwest. He will work out of the Bellevue office.
Clearwire in Kirkland hired two senior executives to support market expansion plans. They are David Maquera as senior vice president and chief strategy officer and Thomas Enraght-Moony as senior vice president and general manager of CLEAR Online. Maquera was vice president of strategic development for Cricket Communications/Leap Wireless. Enraght-Moony was CEO at Match.com.
Kathleen Sebelius, secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, has appointed Susan M.R. Johnson as regional director for region 10, which includes Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. Johnson has been director of the King County Health Action Plan for the Public Health Department in Seattle and King County since 1997.

Larry Benaroya and Marvin Stein were inducted into the NAIOP Hall of Fame, and Tim Farrell and Larry Springer were recognized as Public Officials of the Year. Public Project honors went to Garfield High School for its recent renovation.
Seattle-based Tarragon has secured four long-term lease agreements totaling 20,000 square feet at Sunrise Village shopping center in Pierce County. Tarragon says it now has nearly 80 percent of its leasable space committed at Sunrise Village. New tenants include Party City, H&R Block, Kaiten Sushi and State Farm.
The Institute of Real Estate Management recently gave its 2009 awards to real estate managers and organizations. Lorig Management Services was awarded the Accredited Management Organization of the Year. The Certified Property Manager Candidate of the Year award went to Michelle Crabtree of Legacy Commercial. The Accredited Residential Manager of the Year went to Ingrid Adams of the Madison Group and the IREM Professional Partner of the Year went to Perfect Surface of Washington. The 2010 IREM Executive Committee was sworn in. They include Barry Blanton, president; Nicolette Anderson, president-elect; and Faye Crow, immediate past president.
