Riddell Williams

Law firm Riddell Williams elected Wendy Lyon, Courtney Seim and Skylar Sherwood to principal. Lyon is a civil trial attorney and is a member of the Litigation and Real Estate and Land Use practice groups. Seim is a member of the Litigation and Environmental and Natural Resources practice groups. Sherwood is a member of the Litigation and Labor and Employment practice groups.

Puget Sound Health Alliance

The Puget Sound Health Alliance hired John Gallagher as director of communication and development. Gallagher has 20 years of experience in public relations and journalism. He was recently in charge of media relations and public awareness campaigns for the American Academy of Ophthalmology in San Francisco.

Hipcricket

Kirkland-based mobile marketing company Hipcricket hired Doug Stovall as senior vice president of sales. Stovall has 17 years of experience and has created and directed the mobile sales units for Acuity Mobile, Merkle and TeleCommunications Systems.

Bellevue Downtown Association

Ron Rauch, CPA and shareholder with Clark Nuber, is chair of the Bellevue Downtown Association. Rauch is a past treasurer of the association.

Stanislaw Ashbaugh

Seattle law firm Stanislaw Ashbaugh has added two new associates. Jenny Faubion has joined the firm's Commercial Litigation Group and Tristan Swanson will be working with all of the firm's litigation groups.

City of Newcastle

The Newcastle City Council has re-elected John Dulcich as mayor, and elected Steve Buri as deputy mayor and Rob Wyman as interim city manager. Dulcich was mayor from 2002 to 2005, then had a two-year hiatus before returning to the role in 2009. Buri has served on the council since 2008. Wyman is a consultant in community planning and commercial real estate and replaces John Starbard.

Northwest Kidney Centers

Northwest Kidney Centers hired Daniel Evans as director of decision support and payer relations. Evans was director of acute support services and marketing for DaVita, and has management experience in the kidney dialysis field.

Neil Walter Co.

Kevin Skillestad is a new principal in the Kent office of the commercial real estate brokerage Neil Walter Co., which also provides property management services. He joined the company in 2005 and works the South Seattle industrial market. Neil Walter also opened a Yakima office. It has been active in the Yakima market, handling the sale of a 510,000-square-foot Ace Hardware facility, and representing Ace in its move to a 780,000-square-foot facility in nearby Moxee. Yakima native Paul Stelzer will relocate from Kent to staff the new office.

Realogics

Realogics Brokerage in Seattle joined Sotheby's International Realty Affiliates' luxury real estate network. It is owned by Dean and Stacy Jones, and now does business as Realogics Sotheby's International Realty. Sam Cunningham is designated broker and co-owner. The firm is moving to a Belltown retail building it owns at 2715 First Ave. It has 17 sales associates, including Moira E. Holley and James H. Stroupe, co-founders of the company's Resale division. Realogics, through a separate operating company, markets condos, townhouses and bank-owned real estate, including bulk sales and foreclosures.

NWMLS

Jeff Foster of Advantage GMAC Real Estate in Moses Lake was elected 2010 chairman of the Board of Directors for Northwest Multiple Listing Service. Other new officers are Doug Davis of Hallmark Realty in Kirkland, vice chairman; Diedre Haines, Coldwell Bank Bain Associates of Snohomish County, treasurer; and Bobbie Petrone Chipman, Coldwell Banker Bain-Tacoma/Puyallup, secretary. Northwest MLS member-brokers also elected five directors: Pat Grimm of Windermere/Capitol Hill, Meribeth Hutchings of Windermere/Lake Stevens, Michael Skahen of Lake & Co. in Seattle; Darin Stenvers of Re/Max in Bellingham, and Frank Wilson of John L. Scott in Poulsbo.

Two NAIOP events

NAIOP's Developing Leaders Group will host a St. Patrick's Day party at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 11, at Kells Irish Restaurant & Pub, 1916 Post Alley, in Seattle. NAIOP's South Sound Committee will host a panel discussion about the cost of developing environmentally sustainable projects at an 8 a.m. March 12 breakfast at the Hotel Murano, 1320 Broadway, Tacoma.
