Carney Badley Spellman

Law firm Carney Badley Spellman hired Scott Weaver as of counsel. Weaver practices in the area of commercial litigation and focuses on real estate, construction, landlord tenant and business disputes.

CFO Selections hired Dennis Hebert as an associate in its professional services practice. Hebert has 30 years of experience. He established the local office of Partner On-Call and worked at Continental Mills and Activity Based Costing.

52 Limited

52 Limited, a matchmaker between freelance and full-time workers and employers, hired Patricia Beasock to the Portland team as senior recruiter and promoted Sara Davey Schmidt to senior account manager. Beasock spent the past 11 years recruiting for the financial, technical and creative industries and recently recruited for Seattle's 24 Seven. Schmidt has worked at 52 Ltd. for six months and was previously account manager.

Otis Kenyon Wine of Walla Walla will open a Woodinville tasting room in April in Apple Farm Village, 14525 148th Ave. N.E. The tasting room will have 958 square feet.

KeyBank

Elissa Eddie has been named assistant vice president and manager of KeyBank's new branch in the Renton Highlands. Eddie began her career at KeyBank in 2007 as an operation service manager and has since been a personal banker, branch manager and licensed insurance representative. For the past year, she managed the KeyBank branch at Riverton Heights in Tukwila.

Hodgson/Meyers

Hodgson/Meyers, a Kirkland-based marketing communications agency, hired Jamie Bakun as graphic designer. Jamie has had design stints at Paramount Pictures/Screenlife Games and Draft FCB, working with clients such as Netflix, AT&T, and AAA Auto.

Foster Pepper

Judy Runstad, Foster Pepper of counsel, received the Distinguished Alumna Award from the UW School of Law, Law Women's Caucus. The Law Women's Caucus honors alumnae who have expanded the participation of women in the legal profession, remained active in the Washington legal community and advanced the status of women.

Grubb & Ellis

AMB Property hired Grubb & Ellis as leasing agent for four industrial properties totaling 1.3 million square feet in the Seattle area. Grubb & Ellis Senior Vice President Matt McGregor will be the lead broker, and will be joined by regional Managing Director Bill Condon and Industrial Group Vice President Andrew Hitchcock. The team will lease AMB Portside Distribution Center in South Seattle, AMB Upland Distribution Center in Tukwila, Northwest Distribution Center in Kent and NW Corporate Park Renton.

Bellevue Towers

Union Bank was designated a preferred lender by Bellevue Towers, a 539-unit condominium project. Union officials say the bank specializes in jumbo loan financing up to $5 million. Last summer, Bellevue Towers developer Gerding Edlen cut prices by 20 percent for the next 50 buyers. For those buyers, prices ranged from $349,000 to $3.35 million. A spokesperson for the developer said 87 of the condos have sold and another 82 are under contract. Bellevue Towers was LEED gold certified.

Kelsey Lindblom joined the Metro West Market Center office of Keller Williams in West Seattle. She has been an agent for two years.

Urban Land Institute

The Seattle District Council of the Urban Land Institute will hold a breakfast program April 8 on “What's Behind Seattle's Hottest Neighborhoods.” Panelists Liz Dunn of Dunn & Hobbes, Rob Mohn of Ram Columbia and Charlie Wenzlau of Wenzlau Architects will talk about the strategies that were used to create a sense of place in Seattle's Pike-Pine corridor and Columbia City as well as downtown Winslow.
