Stoel Rives, a full-service U.S. business law firm, hired Hunter Ferguson to the Seattle office as an associate in the Litigation Group. Ferguson was a law clerk for the Honorable Stephen J. Dwyer at the Washington State Court of Appeals.
Threshold Group, an independent wealth management firm in Gig Harbor, named longtime associate and client advisor Kristen Powers Bauer as West Coast head of family office services. Bauer, who works in the Seattle area, will team up with Dan Geary, her counterpart in Philadelphia. They will oversee Threshold's wealth management relationships with families.
De Bortoli Wines, one of Australia's largest wineries, selected Portland-based Leopold Ketel & Partners to provide marketing and public relations services in the United States. LKP's initial assignment will be for Emeri De Bortoli Sparkling Wines.
Wood Resources, a member of the Atlas Holdings group of companies, announced William R. Corbin, a former executive vice president of Weyerhaeuser Co., has been appointed chairman of the board. Wood Resources is an Olympia-based manufacturer of specialty and commodity plywood founded in 2003.
