All Star Directories, a publisher of online and career school directories, hired Mark Klebanoff as chief operating officer and chief financial officer. Klebanoff has 20 years of executive technology experience and has worked at Daptiv, M:Metrics, AccessLine and RealNetworks.
Virginia Mason Medical Center said its hospital addition will be named the Floyd & Delores Jones Pavilion. The addition will have a new emergency department, intensive care unit, procedure and operating rooms, and a healing care environment. Virginia Mason will begin transferring services to the addition in the second half of 2011.
Dan Yeung, formerly of Morningstar, Threshold Group and Purcell Advisory Services, joined The Caprock Group as a senior associate in its Mercer Island office. Caprock develops strategic financial solutions for high net worth families. Yeung is also an adjunct professor of finance in the Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University.
Cairncross & Hempelmann hired Staci Snyder Jones, real estate attorney, as principal and Samantha Bushaw as an associate. Jones has 16 years of experience in commercial real estate and has worked with Cairncross & Hempelmann in the past. Bushaw was the firm's 2009 summer associate and recently received her law degree from Seattle University School of Law.

Hawkeye Channel Practice of Kent, an international channel marketing agency, hired Andy Wright as chief executive officer. Wright has 30 years experience in marketing and was president of Carlson Marketing's U.S. loyalty business for five years.
Hamlin Robinson School, which recently relocated to 1700 E. Union St. on Capitol Hill, hired Joan Beauregard as interim head of school. Beauregard has held leadership positions at The Giddens School in Seattle, the Little School in Bellevue and St. Thomas School in Medina. Hamlin Robinson offers programs for students with dyslexia and related language difficulties.
Bellevue-based Symetra Life Insurance Co. hired Jonathan Curley as executive vice president of its Life Division. Curley worked with Wells Fargo Insurance Services where he was senior vice president and managing director of individual insurance.
Christensen O'Connor Johnson Kindness, an intellectual property law firm, hired Steven Parmelee as a member of its Life Sciences Practice. Parmelee's primary focus is developing biotechnology patent portfolios for companies and research institutions. He founded the Seattle office of Townsend and Townsend and Crew, and was managing partner for 16 years.



Professional Service Industries promoted Daniel Kuhn to branch manager of the Mountlake Terrace office. Kuhn holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri–Columbia, and completed PSI's Manager-in-Training program. He has been with the company since June of 2008.
Hillsboro, Ore.-based Parr Lumber Co. yesterday celebrated its 80th anniversary. The company started when Dwight Parr Sr. leased Evergreen Lumber Co., a bankrupt building materials business in Vancouver, and renamed it Parr Lumber Co. It is still owned by Parr's grandchildren Michael Parr, Brad Farmer and Nancy Cranston.
