Decker Consulting Engineers hired Chad Smith as a senior project designer. Smith has 20-plus years of experience in civil engineering for land development and transportation projects. The Seattle civil engineering firm works on land development and redevelopment.

Derrick Eberle joined the landscape architecture firm of Bruce Dees & Associates in Tacoma as a landscape designer. Eberle will work on design and construction reviews and coordinate marketing.

Andersen Bjornstad Kane Jacobs promoted Dina Winkel to site civil group leader. She joined the firm in 2002 and has worked on Good Samaritan Hospital and Cancer Center in Puyallup. ABKJ is a civil and structural engineering firm in Seattle.
Sarah Hooker transferred from Seattle to GeoEngineers' Spokane office as a geotechnical engineer. Ron Martinez in the Spokane office was promoted to lead technician. Jeff Fealko in the Boise office was promoted to senior engineer from project engineer.
Ridolfi hired Paul Bianco as a senior environmental engineer. He has a background in environmental remediation and civil engineering systems, including water and wastewater treatment plants, fluid transport systems, and hazardous waste treatment. He has recently focused on groundwater remediation systems. The Seattle firm provides environmental engineering and scientific consulting.
Laura Marquez-Garrett, an associate in Foster Pepper's Litigation Group, has been named to the Board of Directors of Parkinson's Project. Parkinson's Project is a nonprofit involved in transforming the way Parkinson's care is provided by creating a model living environment.
Regional law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt hired Rob Burton as chief operating officer. Burton is taking the place of Donald Williams, who retired after 25 years with the firm. Burton comes to Schwabe from Holland & Hart, a Denver-based law firm with 425 attorneys in 15 offices across the United States, where he served as director of finance.
Ashley Pugh has been named top barkeep at MistralKitchen. Pugh replaces Andrew Bohrer, the restaurant's opening bar manager, who is moving on to corporate mixologist and bartender trainer for the Fairmont Hotel Group.
