Regional general contractor Lease Crutcher Lewis hired Timur Dilek as project engineer and Beth Pepin as operations assistant in its Seattle office. It also promoted Jonny Hayes to superintendent. Dilek is a LEED AP BD&C and has four years of construction experience. He holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from Central Washington University, and will soon complete his MBA at the University of Washington. Pepin has three years of construction experience and holds a bachelor's degree and CM certification from the UW. Hayes joined Lewis in 1991 and has been a field supervisor since 1997. He attended UCLA and the University of Nevada, Reno.

LaDon Berlin joined Ash Grove Cement Co. as sales administrative assistant in its Seattle-area sales office. Berlin has more than 15 years of customer service and administrative experience from the telecommunications industry.

James Taylor joined the Raymond Group as vice president and area manager for the Northwest region, where he is overseeing business development, project management, estimating and field operations. Taylor has 35 years of experience in the commercial drywall industry. He is based out of the company's new Seattle office. Raymond Group is a lath and plaster, framing and drywall company.
John Hoedemaker, who joined Schuchart/Dow as general manager in 2005, has been appointed managing partner. Hoedemaker is continuing to guide business operations, as well as provide project oversight, and foster relationships with clients and industry peers. Paige Williams, formerly human resources manager, took over Hoedemaker's old role. She is overseeing business operations.
Bellevue-based KORAL Bar & Kitchen named Rashawd Willett as general manager. Willett was general manager of Bradley and Mikel's Pearl Bar & Dining. Koral Bar & Kitchen in the Hyatt Regency Bellevue is a “new American kitchen” with an upscale menu of contemporary American cuisine.
The Snohomish County Public Utility District has been named a top U.S. utility for program offerings brand value. The survey was conducted by ESource, an independent energy research and information firm, in coordination with the Nielsen Co. Snohomish County PUD has offered conservation programs since the early 1980s, and ESource said its senior and low-income assistance programs are some of the most comprehensive in the Pacific Northwest.

Bates Technical College has appointed Ed Ulman as interim executive director and general manager of KBTC Public Television. Ulman has been KBTC's development director for four years. Ulman will hold the interim position for three to six months, while Bates conducts a national search for a permanent hire.
California-based Sabal Financial Group named Dean Mix as production officer for the home builder lending division in the Pacific Northwest region. Mix was executive vice president and senior relationship manager at Construction Lending NW. Sabal Financial Group is a diversified financial services firm.
Seattle-based Point B named Ben Burke practice director of retail and consumer products. Burke, a nine-year veteran of Point B, has worked in several leadership positions for the firm. Point B is a management consulting and venture investment firm.
