Brandon Bell joined PSF Mechanical as an HVAC service technician, Danita Hill as an accounts payable specialist and Charles White as a project design engineer. Bell has been in the HVAC industry for about five years and was a Navy helicopter mechanic. Hill has been in the construction industry for 16 years. She is pursuing a bachelor's degree in business management from National University. White recently received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Seattle University. PSF specializes in mechanical design-build projects in life sciences, high-tech and Class A office buildings
Willows Lodge has been recognized as a top hotel in the world by Travel + Leisure readers. The Top 500 list ranks Willows Lodge as the No. 1 hotel in Seattle and No. 1 hotel in Washington, with an overall score of 89.57.
Hotel 1000 in downtown Seattle was recognized as a top hotel in the world by Condé Nast Traveler readers on the annual Gold List. Hotel 1000 was ranked No. 1 in Seattle and No. 1 in Washington state, with an overall score of 91.2.
Pacific Financial Corp., the Aberdeen-based holding company for Bank of the Pacific, said Denise Portmann has been named president and chief executive officer of Bank of the Pacific starting Jan. 1. She will succeed Dennis Long, who will remain president and CEO of Pacific Financial Corp. Portmann will continue to be CFO until a replacement is found.

Auction of Washington Wines named Aimee Sheridan executive director. She has more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience with Boys & Girls Clubs, The Salvation Army and PAWS. Since its inception in 1988, the auction has raised more than $30 million, mostly for uncompensated care at Seattle Children's.

Caitlin Bellum has joined Helsell Fetterman, a Seattle-based law firm serving businesses, organizations and individuals. She has practiced intellectual property and entertainment law in Seattle for four years and work with the business law and intellectual property practice groups.
Paycom, a payroll and HR services company, is opening an office in Seattle, which will be the fourth location added this year for the Oklahoma City-based company. Zachary Miller will lead the office at 999 Third Ave., Suite 1510. Miller has worked in sales for Paycom's cloud-based HR technology. This will be Paycom's 24th sales office.
Brad Orr will be the new Juneau district ranger. The Juneau Empire reports Tongass National Forest Supervisor Forrest Cole made the announcement Thursday. Orr will come to Alaska from the Arapaho-Roosevelt National Forest in Granby, Colo. He currently serves as the recreation program manager on the Sulphur Ranger District. He replaces the current Juneau ranger, Marti Marshal, who will retire in January after being in the position for more than three years.
